Conclusion Questions
1. What is it about “engineering” that is common to all disciplines of engineering? That is, what makes an “engineer” an “engineer” regardless of the work one does?
All fields of engineering require the use of the design process to solve a problem and make ours lives easier.
2. Why do you think engineering has been called the stealth profession?
It is called the stealth profession because nobody really sees engineers in action.
3. How is an engineer different from a scientist?
The way I see it is scientists are the brains behind the principles and laws while an engineer uses those principles to solve real-life problems.
4. What interpersonal characteristics do you think are important to the success of an engineer of any discipline?
